BPL T20 2025 Schedule, Team Squads, Live Broadcast

The BPL 2025 will be the 11th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League, and it will be played between December 30 2024, and February 7, 2025. Similar to the previous edition, the BPL 11 will also have seven teams participating.

The BPL draft for the 2025 season took place on October 14, and multiple changes were announced. The tournament can be watched on TV channels and live-streaming platforms. The Bangladesh Premier League 2025 schedule, live telecast, team squad player list and live streaming details are below.

BPL Team Changes

With a lot happening in the country, there were a few changes that were bound to happen when it came to team ownership.

The Dhaka franchise will now be owned by Shakib Khan’s Remark-Herlan Group and the team will now be called Dhaka Capitals. Comilla Victorians will no longer feature in the competition and will see Durbar Rajshahi come into the competition in their place.

Chittagong Kings will replace Chattogram Challengers.

Bangladesh Premier League 2025 Schedule

The BPL 2024-25 will be hosted across three venues in Bangladesh: Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka (opening eight matches and final 14 matches including playoffs), Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet (12 matches in the second phase), and Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram (12 matches in the third phase).

What Happened in the 2024 Season of BPL?

Fortune Barishal won the 2024 edition of the Bangladesh Premier League, which was Barishal’s maiden title. In the final, Barishal overcame the four-time winner, Comilla Victorians.

Barishal finished the league stages of the competition with 14 points to end third on the table. In the Eliminator they then romped to an easy win over Chattogram Challengers with over five overs to spare.

This was followed by a six-wicket victory over Rangpur Riders in the second Qualifier that took them to the final where they met Comilla Victorians.

Comilla never looked like they had enough on the board as they were restricted to 154/6 before Barishal chased it down in 19 overs.
