Everything about the Global Super League T20 2024
What is the Global Super League T20? This is a new competition which was launched on the last day of the Caribbean Premier League 2024.
It will be played between five teams but more vitally, these sides will be invited from the world over and in the words of the organisers, “will be South America’s first standalone cricket event and is sanctioned by Cricket West Indies and is fully supported by the government of Guyana who will be a key stakeholder in the tournament.”
There will be 10 group games in the first edition played in November-December 2024 with each of the five teams facing off against each other once. The top two teams will make the final.
How Did The Teams Qualify for the Global Super League 2024?
Guyana Amazon Warriors qualified for this competition based on being hosts. The remaining teams will make it to the competition on an invitation basis.
Which Teams are Participating in the Global Super League T20 2024?
Five teams will take part in the first-ever season of the Global Super League T20. Guyana Amazon Warriors will be one of them while the remaining four from all over the world will be announced as we get closer to the start of the competition.
For now, it’s announced that England’s Hampshire, South Africa’s Titans and Rangpur Riders from the Bangladesh Premier League will feature in this year’s edition of the Global Super League.

Global Super League T20 2024 Schedule & Fixtures
What we know so far is that the 2024 edition of the Global Super League T20 will be contested among five teams who will be playing 10 group games and a final between November 26 and December 7.
There will be a game played on each of the first 10 days of the tournament before the final that will be held after a day’s break. All matches are being played at Guyana National Stadium, Providence.
