What is the Kerala T20 Trophy? A domestic, franchise-based T20 tournament held in the state of Kerala, this competition joins the ever-increasing league of tournaments played in India in the T20 format.
This was played for the first time in 2024 with teams from six cities featuring in the first edition. The auction for this competition was held on August 10 and the squads were announced soon after that. The second edition will be held in 2025.
Each of the six teams had featured in 10 league games and the top four sides had made it to the semifinals in the previous edition which was followed by the final. The format for the 2025 edition is yet to be revealed.
Which Teams are Participating in the Kerala T20 Trophy 2025?
Six teams had participated in the first-ever edition of the Kerala T20 League. These were as follows:

Kerala T20 Trophy 2025 Schedule & Fixtures
We will update this section once the schedule for the 2025 edition is released. The 2024 edition of the Kerala T20 Trophy was held between September 2 and 18.
There were 30 league matches in the tournament, with each of the six teams facing the others on two occasions. At the end of the group games, the top four sides advanced to the semifinals in 2024, with the winners of those matches entering the final.

What Happened in the Previous Edition of the Kerala T20?
Aries Kollam Sailors surprised Calicut Globstars in the final by chasing down 214 with six wickets and five balls remaining to grab the 2024 Kerala T20 Trophy.
50s from Rohan Kunnummel, Ajnas M and Akhil Scaria had helped Calicut through to that humongous score but Sachin Baby’s sterling knock of 105 not-out ensured Aries Kollam Sailors would go on to chase it successfully.
This was after Aries Kollam Sailors had topped the points table at the end of the league stage of the competition with eight wins from 10 games and then defeated Thrissur Titans in the semifinals.
