What Happened in IPL 2024?
Having finished the 2022 edition of the competition at the second spot and then lost to Gujarat Titans in the final, the Rajasthan Royals had entered the 2023 season with a lot of expectations from their team.
Unfortunately for the fans, they failed to live up to those rising expectations as their campaign tapered off in the second half of the tournament.
Having begun with four wins from the first seven matches, Rajasthan Royals managed to claim four more in the second half but with Mumbai Indians winning their final league game, the Royals were knocked out of the competition. They finished fifth.
