Everything about the Spring Challenge 2024-25
What is the Spring Challenge 2024-25? The 2024-25 edition of the Spring Challenge T20 will be the first to be played, and nine women’s teams will fight it out for ultimate glory.
Each of the nine teams will play four matches, and at the end of these 18 group matches, the top four sides will advance to the semifinals.
According to the official Cricket Australia website, cricket.com.au, this tournament has been introduced in a bid to ensure there’s no reduction in the total number of T20 matches that will be played in the Australian women’s calendar following the change in the WBBL schedule.
Other than the eight teams which take part in the WBBL, a ninth in the form of Australian Capital Territory Women will also feature in this competition.

The 2024-25 Spring Challenge kick-starts on Friday, October 11. The group stage of the competition will go on till October 17 while the semi-finals and final will be held on October 19 and 20 respectively.
