What Have The Two Teams Done So Far?
West Indies qualified for the Super Eights phase of the competition in fine style, winning all four of their games.
They faced a bit of an early problem against Papua New Guinea but once Roston Chase had clinched the victory there, West Indies were off to the races.
Even New Zealand gave them a fright before Sherfane Rutherford and the Caribbean spinners clinched a well-earned win. In their final game, they routed Afghanistan on the back of a Nicholas Pooran knock of 98.
England have come back from the dead in some ways. After their opening game against Scotland was washed out and they lost to Australia, they were left with no option but to win their remaining two games and hope that Scotland don’t add any more points to their tally.
That’s exactly what happened but not before the weather and Scotland’s performances gave them some heart-stopping moments.
