What Have The Two Teams Done So Far?
Australia were one of the teams to have made it through to the Super Eights stage with a clean record, winning all their four matches.
They were so comfortably placed that going into their final league game against Scotland, there were talks of Australia deliberately underperforming to allow their opponents to make it through to the next round instead of arch-rivals England. In the end they won that game too.
The manner in which Bangladesh lost to India in their warm-up game and then fell to 28/3 in their opener against Sri Lanka in their chase of 125, it looked like they would be going home in a jiffy.
Instead, they went on to win that game and then all but overcame South Africa before going past Nepal and Netherlands to qualify for the Super Eights.

What needs to be seen, however, is that this will be the second game at this ground in successive days with South Africa playing USA in the opening game of the Super Eights as well. That could have an impact on the pitch.
