What is the Marsh One-Day Cup? The Marsh One-Day Cup is the 50-over-a-side, domestic competition held in Australia and is contested by their six state teams. Having first started in the 1969-70 season and has been played every season since then.
Teams participating in the Marsh One-Day Cup face three of the remaining five teams in one match and take on the other two teams twice. This means each of the six sides in the tournaments plays seven matches apiece.
At the end of the group stage of the tournament, the top two teams feature in the final.
