Global T20 Canada 2024 to Begin on July 25

The fourth edition of the Global T20 Canada tournament is set to take place at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario, the same venue at which the tournament was held last year. The GT20 tournament is slated to begin on July 25 and will go on till August 11, 2024. The player draft for this fourth season was conducted in a hybrid format on June 21, 2024, with franchise representatives joining in from various locations worldwide.

GT20 follows the same format as the IPL, featuring six teams. These are:

• Brampton Wolves
• Montreal Tigers
• Bangla Tigers Mississauga (replacing Mississauga Panthers from the previous season)
• Surrey Jaguars
• Toronto Nationals
• Vancouver Knights.

The league will feature notable players including Harbhajan Singh, Shoaib Malik, Chris Gayle, and Andre Russell among others.

Global T20 Canada 2024 Tickets – To buy tickets for the Global T20 Canada 2024, you can visit the official website at any time before a match concludes. Alternatively, tickets can be purchased directly from the box office at the CAA Center cricket stadium from July 25 to August 11, operating from 10 am to 7 pm throughout the week. Ticket costs begin at a starting price of $5 per person.

Global T20 Canada 2024 Schedule Fixtures

The schedule for the 2024 season will feature 25 matches over 18 days. The opening game of this tournament will see Toronto Nationals take on Vancouver Knights with the league phase of the competition going on till August 6 when Surrey Jaguars will face Montreal Tigers.

Every team will consist of 16 players, drawn from both Full Member Nations and ICC Associate Member Nations. This roster will include 6 international players, 2 of whom are marquee stars, 4 players from Associate Nations, and 6 Canadian players.
