India have won both their games in the Super Eights stage, having beaten Afghanistan and Bangladesh rather easily. This is why they aren’t just sitting pretty on account of those two wins but also with a net run-rate that is tough to overcome.
Australia looked like they had things under control having reached the Super Eight stage with four wins and then crushing Bangladesh in their opener in the Super Eights.
In their previous game, however, they were shocked by Afghanistan in what turned out to be their first loss to the Asian side and that means they are in a bit of a soup when it comes to semifinal qualification.
