More information on the 2025 edition of the KSCA Maharaja Trophy will be updated as we get closer to the start of this tournament. Here’s how the tournament looked in 2024.
The KSCA T20 is a Twenty20 tournament league played in Karnataka and had replaced the Karnataka Premier League. It started in 2022 and is currently in its third season. Gulbarga Mystics and Hubli Tigers have been the past winners.
This year’s KSCA T20 will see six teams fight it out for top honours yet again. These six teams are:
- Gulbarga Mystics
- Hubli Tigers
- Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters
- Mangaluru Dragons
- Mysuru Warriors
- Shivamogga Lions
The squads for these teams were announced in July 2024 and can be found here. All these sides will face the other teams twice apiece, making it a total of 30 games during the league stage of the competition starting on August 15.
This will be followed by the playoffs leading up to the final which will be held on September 1.
Manish Pandey, Mayank Agarwal, K Gowtham, Karun Nair, Shreyas Gopal and Vijaykumar Vyshak are the six captains involved in this year’s competition.

What Happened in the 2024 Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20?
Mysore Warriors lifted the 2024 edition of the Maharaja Trophy when they beat the table-toppers Bengaluru Blasters in the final.
Built on the strong batting displays from SU Karthik, Karun Nair and a 13-ball 44 from Manoj Bhandage, the Warriors piled up 207/4 in their 20 overs. In response, LR Chethan’s 51 couldn’t prevent a Bengaluru collapse that left them 45 runs short.
Earlier, Mysore Hubli Tigers by nine runs while Bengalore overcame Gulbarga Mystics by nine wickets in the semifinals to set up the title-decider. Shivamogga Lions and Mangalore Dragons won a mere four matches between them to fail to qualify for the semifinals.
What Happened in the 2023 Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20?
In what turned out to be an ever-close final, Hubli Tigers overcame Mysuru Warriors in the final of the KSCA T20 in 2023 to grab the title by just eight runs.
Manish Pandey’s 23-ball 50 helped Hubli pile up 203/8 in their 20 overs after they had earlier been propped up by Mohammed Taha’s 40-ball 72.
In response Ravikumar Samarth responded with a blazing knock of 63 but with 70 needed from the final 7.2 overs, Mysuru Warriors collapsed to fall short by eight runs.
Hubli had earlier overcome Shivamogga Lions and Mysuru defeated Gulbarga Mystics in their respective semifinals.
