While Bangalore are on their last flicker of hope having slumped to the 10th spot in the IPL 2024 points table with six points from 10 games, Gujarat have a slightly better chance with eight points from those many matches. Both teams would know, however, a loss here would be the end of their campaign.

Royal Challengers Bangalore might have been all but knocked out of this year’s IPL but the manner in which they have played in their previous two games is something they would have liked to do throughout the tournament.

What’s also interesting to note in that encounter is that the RCB bowling did reasonably well, other than the six overs bowled by Green and Karn. They would hope for something similar from their seamers again.
