South Africa
South Africa’s overall record in T20I cricket reads a solid 106-82 on win-loss which gives them a ratio of 1.3. And all said and done they were the runner-up at the 2024 T20 World Cup.

South Africa had struggled with the ball in the opening game but came back strongly in the second match to restrict India to 124 for six in their 20 overs.
India could have been bowled out for a lot lesser after they fell to 87 for six at one stage but a late effort from Hardik Pandya – who top-scored for his side – got them close to 130.
Still it didn’t look like it would be enough of a score on a fairly decent pitch but for Varun Chakravarthy who had other ideas. He grabbed a five-fer, running through the South Africa middle-order and had them down to 86 for seven at one stage.
It could have been anybody’s match from there on and it was Tristan Stubbs who took control with an unbeaten 47. Gerald Coetzee made 19 and together they guided the home team to a win.
Suryakumar Yadav’s captaincy came in for a bit of a question after he failed to bowl Axar Patel – Patel ending with 0/2 in 1 over – and he would have to do a lot better than that if he wants to stay in the job.
