Everything about the Guyana T10 Blast
This is the first-ever edition of the Guyana T10 Blast. As the name suggests, this tournament is hosted in the Caribbean country of Guyana and is played in the T10 format, or as a 10-over-a-side competition.
In the first season, six teams will participate in the tournament and these are as follows:
- Demerara Hawks
- Demerara Pitbulls
- Berbice Caimans
- Essequibo Anacondas
- Berbice Piranhas
- Essequibo Jaguars
Guyana T10 Blast Format
The six teams in this year’s Guyana T10 Blast feature in a two-leg round-robin league. What this means is that every team faces off against every other team in the tournament in two matches.
The top four sides at the end of the league stage of the competition make it to the semifinals with the winners of those two matches making it to the final. The losing team from those games will also face off in a match for the third place.
