The Qosh Tepa National T20 Cup is a domestic T20 competition which was held in Afghanistan for the first ever time in 2024.
Five teams, based on the five regions in the country, will take part in this tournament with the national selectors having kept a keen eye on things as they selected the team for the 2024 T20 World Cup.
The five teams featuring in the first season of the Qosh Tepa National T20 Cup included:

Qosh Tepa National T20 Cup Format
As mentioned earlier, there are five teams which will participate in this opening edition of the Qosh Tepa National T20 Cup. Each of these sides will play the other four in a two-leg round-robin league following which the top two sides will make the final.
A total of 21 matches will be played in this competition.

With five wins to their name, the Band-e-Amir Region and Mis Ainak Region finished in the top two positions on the points table of the 2024 edition of the Qosh Tepa National T20 Cup.
They faced off in the final again and Band-e-Amir Region batted first and compiled 196/5 in the 20 overs thanks to a Karim Janat century. In response, Mis Ainak started off solidly, reaching 69/1 in eight overs but failed to keep up with that momentum.
While Shahidullah made 41, none of the other batters managed to do much of note as the side collapsed to 173 all out with two balls to spare, giving Band-e-Amir Region their first title.
