The tournament will have 10 teams separated into two groups as was the case in the previous edition as well. ‘Hosts’ Bangladesh and the top six ranked teams from the 2023 Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa qualified directly, with the final 3 spots filled by Pakistan and two other teams from the global qualifying tournament.
